Desktops iMac G5
BLAND: The iMac G5 just has no character. It looks both generic and like a toy all at the same time.
iMac G4
NO AUDIO IN: iMac 2002 lacks audio in. Major blunder for a "digital hub".
POWERBUTTON HIDDEN: Why in the world is the powerbutton around the back?
OTHER: The mouse and keyboard. Very nice new white, but an option for a wireless mouse and a wireless keyboard would be very nice indeed (is that Bluetooth I hear in the wings?...).
Hellberg Christer say the USB plugs should be in the front, for quick and easy access to digital hub devices and lack of MiniDisks support is a problem.
Original iMac G3 The classic. No major blunders to report and it's nearing it's end of life. Impressive. The new eMac looks like a stunner. Guess I can call it a blundre that it's only for education, but that's only 'cause I want one :-)
Desktop G5
Nothing I am aware of.
Desktop G4 (Quicksilver)
AUDIO OUT JACK: The Quicksilver has a non-stand
eMac
From a source I unfortunately lost the email address and name of: "I have recently purchased an EMac. As an teacher I thought it would be a good idea to replace my IMac with the computer that will show up in the workplace. There are two blunders that I found so far; the first is the power button is on the side of the machine next to the ports. Students will have to reach past all the cables to turn on the computer and also, there is no hole to eject a cd that is stuck in the computer."
